Works Begin at Runnymede Depot

The MCS team is fully set up on site, with works now well underway at Runnymede Depot in Chertsey. The project involves the demolition of the existing offices, with the area being repurposed to form a new car park, alongside the full refurbishment of the disused St John’s Ambulance Station located across the road. Once complete, the refurbished building will provide new office accommodation for occupation by the council.

As the first phase of works progresses, the team has completed a comprehensive soft strip of the St John’s building and formed new openings within the existing masonry. This helps to provide a clearer floor layout that is best suited for the council and their office requirements.

Following completion of the strip-out works, the team will then begin the erection of wall partitions, dry-lining, and the commencement of first-fix mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services.

We are pleased to be delivering this project on behalf of Runnymede Borough Council and look forward to providing them with modern office accommodation and enhanced car parking facilities.
