Today, we celebrate Ray Davis’s incredible 25-year journey with MCS.
Ray joined the company in January 2001 as a Labourer and throughout his career at MCS, has built a diverse skill set, including forklift operation, crane supervisor, traffic marshal duties and supporting the day-to-day management of site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently
Among Ray’s most memorable projects are the three-storey accommodation building at the prestigious Royal Russell School in Croydon, and the two-storey teaching block at the equally prestigious Charterhouse School in Godalming.
Reflecting on his time at MCS, Ray highlights the company’s people-first culture as what he values most. He particularly appreciates the open communication and supportive working environment that continue to make MCS a great place to work.
John Rourke, Construction Manager at MCS, commented “Ray has been an integral part of the company for the past twenty-five years, working closely with a number of site managers through his time and helping to bring various MCS projects to completion. Ray is, and always has been, a dependable member of the company. I remember when Ray was operating the crane in the cold pouring rain, wearing a bright orange waterproof suit with a big smile on his face. Congratulations to Ray on twenty-five years at MCS, it has been a pleasure working with him”.
