Works are progressing well at Runnymede Depot in Chertsey, delivered on behalf of Runnymede Borough Council.

Following the successful completion of internal demolition, the team has completed drylining works within the former St John’s Ambulance building. The project has now progressed into the first fix stage, with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations currently underway.

Plastering is ongoing throughout the building, with painting and decorating set to follow upon completion. Data cabling has also been installed, ensuring the facility will benefit from reliable connectivity ahead of the Council’s future occupation.

Looking ahead, works will soon move to the garage area. This phase will include enclosing the exposed brickwork with plasterboard, followed by the installation of durable white rock panelling to create a clean, practical finish. A new grid ceiling system will also be installed as part of these works.
