Progress Continues at Portesbery School

Works at Portesbery School are continuing to progress well, on behalf of Surrey County Council.

Recently, the team commenced the M&E first fix, whilst brickwork to the new extension continues to advance steadily. Flat roofing works have also begun, and all asbestos has now been safely removed throughout the building.

Looking ahead, the team will progress alteration works to the existing walls, alongside commencing internal drainage works and installing new ceiling structures. Roofing works are also set to continue, with roof carpentry scheduled to begin in the coming weeks as the new extension takes shape.

Once complete, the project will provide pupils over the age of 16 with a dedicated space away from the lower school, tailored more closely to their needs.
