Works at Portesbery School in Camberley are progressing, on behalf of Surrey County Council.
Recently, the extension’s concrete ground slab has been laid, and temporary roof support has been installed to safely secure the roof whilst the team prepares to remove the existing front wall. Additionally, further asbestos removal works are being carried out within the main hall ceiling to ensure the area is safe for the next phase of construction.
Looking ahead, the next stages of the project will involve the demolition of the structural front wall, followed by the erection of steelwork to create the frame of the new extension. Once this is in place, the team will begin the brickwork, marking a significant step forward in the development.
