We are delighted to have achieved another “Excellent” rating from the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) for our work at The Link Community Hub in Haslemere.

On 23rd January 2026, MCS welcomed CCS’s monitor, Tony John to site to review how the project is being delivered with full consideration to the local community, the environment and our workforce. Following his visit, in his report, Tony commented “…it is quite remarkable how the company has developed its processes to achieve such a high level of compliance… It is difficult to find fault with the company, which is a wonderful example of how a small business can improve the image of the industry.”

The award follows a detailed inspection of all aspects of the project, including our respect for the local community, environmental protection measures, site appearance, and the value placed on our workforce. In recognition of the robust systems and procedures in place, MCS achieved a perfect score of 45 out of 45 to secure the ‘Excellent’ award once again.

In response to the positive feedback, Frankie Johnson, Site Manager at MCS, said “I’m very pleased to have achieved a 45/45 CCS score, which is a fantastic result and a true reflection of the hard work, commitment, and high standards consistently shown by everyone on site. I’m extremely proud of the team effort that went into achieving this score. It was also a pleasure to welcome Tony John on the walk-round of the site and I wish him all the best for the future.”

Justin Whiteman, Managing Director at MCS, commented “Achieving another ‘Excellent’ rating from the CCS, with a full score of 45 out of 45, is something we are incredibly proud of. This result reflects the care, professionalism, and commitment our team brings to every aspect of our project. I would like to thank Frankie, along with MCS’s CCS Champions Tanja Clark and John Rourke, for their outstanding effort and dedication, as well as our trusted supply chain for their continued support in delivering excellence on site.”
