MCS Enters Dragon Boat Races 2026

This June, the MCS team will once again take to the water as we defend our Dragon Boat Champions title, proudly supporting Woking & Sam Beare Hospice. It’s an event we look forward to every year, not just for the competition, but for the fantastic cause behind it and the sense of community it brings. Having won the races last year by a nail-biting 1/10^th of a second, our team are excited to get together and row to victory once more.

We’ll be racing on Sunday 7th June at Goldsworth Park Lake, where the annual Dragon Boat Races promise a great day out full of family fun. Alongside the excitement on the water, there will be a lively, family-friendly atmosphere with a BBQ, tombola, a variety of stalls, and plenty of activities to keep children entertained throughout the day. It’s always a brilliant mix of friendly competition and community celebration.

We are proud to be taking part in an event that raises vital funds for such an important local charity. Woking & Sam Beare Hospice provides compassionate care and support to patients and their families during some of the most challenging times in their lives, and every contribution truly makes a difference.
