MCS appoints Oliver Barratt as Senior Construction Manager

MCS is strengthening its team with the appointment of Oliver Barratt to the position of Senior Construction Manager.

Oly has over 40 years’ experience in construction, and a background of delivering major projects for Tier 1 contractors; including delivering The Curve a £22.5m a new library, cultural and community centre in Slough and the £140m Project Barona, which was a regeneration of the MoD’s Beacon Barracks estate in Stafford.

Construction Director, Justin Whiteman said: “I am pleased to welcome Oliver to MCS. We continue to attract great talent. Our construction business has steadily grown from strength to strength over the last 40 years and we have delivered some of the regions most essential new buildings, as well as sensitively preserving the most loved.

“My aim is to build the sector’s most trusted and admired construction company - and with our new senior appointment now in place, we are in the perfect position to realise our ambitions for continued steady growth; while continuing to innovate and delight customers.”

Oliver Barratt added: “I am delighted to be joining MCS and look forward to delivering construction excellence across a diverse range of sectors. To be part of a team that collectively wants to deliver high quality work for clients is a company I wanted to be part of.

“I'm excited to be able to play a part within such a talented team and to help continue to drive performance excellence throughout the business. I’m looking forward to getting started and developing my position at MCS.”
