Today marks Global Recycling Day - an important reminder of the role our industry plays in protecting the planet’s resources.
At the heart of our approach is a commitment to eliminating waste from our operations, improving efficiency, and supporting the transition from the traditional take–make–dispose model towards a circular future.
Our ambition is zero avoidable waste across the entire lifecycle of our projects - from design and procurement through to construction and demolition. By 2030, we aim to eliminate avoidable construction waste, divert all non-hazardous waste from landfill, reuse excavation materials wherever possible, and remove single-use plastics from our sites and workplaces.
Through collaboration with our supply chain and smarter design, we are working together to build a more sustainable future.
