Contract Award Mallow Crescent

We are delighted to announce the award of a new project from Surrey County Council to undertake carefully phased works at 25-30 Mallow Crescent in Guildford, Surrey.

These six houses provide supported living and residential short stay respite care home services for people with learning disabilities and autistic people who may have additional physical support needs.

With this in mind we adopted a more flexible method to the programme in order to assist Support Workers with their approach to supporting the individual residents, who may find the process of refurbishing their homes unsettling.

MCS’s Special Works division will be delivering this fast-track, multi-phased project. Initial works involves the careful photographic record of each room prior to works commencing; following this the redecoration of each room will start followed by new flooring laid and new kitchenettes fitted. Then the final clean and the careful re-instating of furniture into the positions as found from the initial photographic survey.

These works are due to commence later this year.
