At MCS, we view our subcontractors and suppliers as more than just partners - they are an extension of our team and an essential part of our success. We are committed to fostering strong, collaborative relationships built on trust, respect, and a shared dedication to excellence.
This month, we are proud to spotlight the excellent work completed by Southern Area Brickwork (SAB), whose expertise continues to contribute to our work at Portesbery School in Deepcut, Camberley.
Rob Medlicott, Senior Site Manager at MCS, shared his appreciation: “The team from Southern Area Brickwork have been great so far. They’re dependable, responsive, and always willing to help. The quality of their work has consistently been excellent, and I look forward to collaborating with them again in the future.”
In response, Tony Perrella, Managing Director at SAB, commented “Thank you very much for the award and recognition - we are all absolutely thrilled about it.
I have passed on the achievement to all the lads who have worked and contributed on site, and it has been greatly appreciated by everyone. Everyone values a “tap on the back.”
Rob Medlicott has also played a big part in making our efforts on site easier through his organisation and planning, so part of these thanks should certainly go to him as well.
We have worked hard to establish a strong work ethic across the team, with everyone understanding that they have an important role to play. We also continue to invest annually in upskilling and in our apprenticeship programme to help maintain and develop high standards throughout the business.”
The success at Portesbery School reflects what is possible when teams come together, highlighting the importance of communication, collaboration, and coordination.
