Works have officially started at Portesbury School in Camberley, on behalf of Surrey County Council.

The first stage of this project is to remove all the asbestos in the existing Deepcut Community Centre building, before it gets transformed into a post-16 facility for the adjacent SEND school.

This new development will help pupils over 16 to have a separate space away from the lower school, which will be more tailored towards their needs, including new classrooms, hygiene rooms and a sensory garden.

In collaboration with Norse Group, MCS is excited to be a vital part of this transformation, providing eagerly awaited additional space to the school and its pupils.
