Project Update at Linden Road

We are delighted to share an update on the restoration of a stunning Victorian villa-style residence in Leatherhead’s Conservation Area. On behalf of Surrey County Council, this ambitious refurbishment project is breathing new life into a heritage property.

Time had taken its toll on the villa, presenting structural and aesthetic challenges such as decaying brickwork, damaged windows, and deteriorating rainwater goods. Entrusted with the restoration, MCS has worked diligently to revive the property while preserving its historic charm.

Since February 2025, our team has been working meticulously to restore the villa to its former glory. Key renovations have included extensive window restorations, external brick repairs, the installation of a modern yet sympathetically designed kitchen and utility area, the replacement of frames and doors, and essential fireproofing enhancements in the basement and stairwell.

As we enter the final phase of the project, our focus now shifts to completing the rewiring, upgrading the heating system, carrying out the internal and external decorations, and adding the finishing touches with expertly installed flooring.

Once completed, this beautifully restored villa will stand as a testament to the seamless integration of heritage preservation and modern functionality. Designed to accommodate multiple occupants, the residence will offer a high-quality, well-insulated living space while ensuring its architectural legacy endures for generations to come.
