Progress At Thames Mariners Building

We are pleased to share an update on the ongoing kitchen refurbishment at Thames Mariners, undertaken on behalf of Surrey County Council.

The site, previously home to an outdated kitchen, has undergone significant transformation with the successful completion of the strip-out phase. This milestone has paved the way for the next stages of development, including the completion of the first fix for electrical works and the initial phase of drylining. With these key elements in place, wall chasing is now underway.

This fast-track project is progressing swiftly. Next week, ceiling installation and fire stopping will commence, followed by the second fix of electricals. Simultaneously, White Rock wall cladding will be installed in the toilets, facilitating the release of the first fix for plumbing works.

Once complete, this refurbishment will modernise the facilities, significantly enhancing the experience for staff, visitors, and students who rely on the centre for learning and recreation.

We look forward to sharing further updates as the project continues.
