Yesterday thirteen members of the team participated in Woking & Sam Beare Hospice’s Dragon Boat Races and Family Fun Day event at Goldsworth Park Lake, Surrey.
The action-packed and colourful event was blessed with fantastic weather and the racing against the other 20 teams across the lake was fierce, leading to the grand finale.
Although we didn’t win on the day we were delighted to have been there to support Woking & Sam Beare Hospice and raise a very impressive £1,285.00. We are very grateful to all the individuals and companies who supported in raising money for this fabulous cause, including: Broadwater Safety Systems, Southern Fabrications, Eveready Plant Hire, React Site Solutions, McLoughlin Groundwork, Capital Windows, Jackson & Gocher, ITS Building and McFarlane Brickwork Contractors Ltd.
