MCS Triumphs at Dragon Boat Races!

We are thrilled to share that Team MCS paddled their way to victory at the Woking & Sam Beare Hospice Dragon Boat Races and Family Fun Day yesterday at Goldsworth Park Lake, Surrey.

With 19 fiercely competitive teams on the water, it was no small feat - but our crew rose to the challenge and clinched the win! Muscles may be sore today, but spirits are sky-high.

A massive thank you to everyone who gave their time, strength, and support to make this a day to remember. Special recognition goes to John Rourke, our Special Works Manager, who masterfully led the team and strategically assembled the perfect paddling order to power us to success.

We are also proud to announce that thanks to the generosity of our amazing sponsors and supporters, we’ve surpassed our fundraising goal of £1,000 - all in aid of helping the hospice continue their invaluable work supporting thousands of patients, carers, and families.
