Lift Installed at The Link Community Hub

Works are continuing at pace at The Link Community Hub, on behalf of the Parochial Church Council of Haslemere.

One of the recent developments on this build is the installation of the new lift. This marks a major step forward in achieving the project’s accessibility objectives and brings the Hub closer to becoming an inclusive space where the local community can fully access and enjoy the facilities with ease.

Currently, the MCS team are completing the drylining internally before they move on to plastering the walls. Once the plastering is completed, then they will be able to start internal decorations whilst maintaining the building’s historical charm.

Outside, zinc roofing works are progressing swiftly on the sheltered pathway that will provide a seamless connection between the church and the new Hub.

As work progresses, the Hub promises to be a place that truly reflects the spirit of the local community - a space for gatherings, activities, and shared experiences for years to come.
