Laboratory Refurbishment Contract Award

We are delighted to officially announce the award of a new contract from The Forestry Commission to deliver essential works at their Alice Holt Research Station in Farnham, Surrey.

MCS has been appointed to refurbish the top floor of a 1970’s building, by converting the dated laboratories into a fresh and modern open-plan office with meeting facilities.

These works will involve removal of all laboratory equipment, a soft strip out, significant M&E adaptations, joinery, glazed partitions, plastering, decorations, acoustic minipod installation, FF&E and floor finishes.

Once complete, the new office area will be able to accommodate over 50 people, in order for them to continue researching and providing essential advice in the areas of: ecology, sustainability, biodiversity and climate change.

These works are due to commence in March 2024.
