MCS was proud to attend the Woking College Careers Fair yesterday, where we had the opportunity to engage with the next generation of talent.
Representing MCS were Lucy Edwards, Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, and Tanja Clark, Marketing Manager, who were on hand to answer a wide range of insightful questions from students interested in the construction industry.
As the sector continues to face a well-documented labour shortage, MCS remains committed to raising awareness among young people about the diverse and rewarding career paths available in construction.
According to the latest Construction Workforce Outlook 2025–29 from the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), the industry will need to recruit approximately 239,300 additional workers over the next five years - around 47,860 annually - to meet projected demand.
