High Street Retail Refurbishment Works

MCS is delighted to be appointed by Surrey County Council to carry out a further project at 12-15 High Street, Winchester.

This new project will see MCS refurbish the 50,408 sq. ft. building and convert the ground floor into three compliant shells, for three food and beverage tenants. The works will also include: shopfront refurbishment, the installation of three new sets of shopfront entrance doors and road alterations to accommodate new tenant risers and plant compounds.

Once complete the three units will be ready for tenant fit-out.

This new project follows MCS’s demolition and strip out of 12-15 High Street, Winchester - the former Debenhams building - which involved the removal of asbestos, full building strip-out of all internal and roof mounted fixtures and fittings, M&E plant and equipment, to return it back to an empty shell.

MCS then carried out the repair and refurbishment of the existing timber windows and to multiple flat and pitch roofs including the replacement of insulation and waterproofing layers.

These new works are to commence this month.
