Great Work Underway at Epsom Fire Station

Progress is in full swing at Epsom Fire Station, one of the oldest running stations in Surrey.

The locker rooms are being stripped to remove their old heating loops that used to keep the storage area warm and dry, to make way for a brand-new cardio gym, neighbouring the weights section in the next room.

Possession has also been taken of a large dormitory, splitting it into 4 separate rooms with new partitions already installed and fresh plastering. This will ensure that firefighters on site will be able to have their own space during their shift.

The next stages will be to refurbish the upstairs bathrooms before taking charge of the downstairs bathrooms, to allow this working fire station to continue operating during construction with minimal disruption.
