MCS is making great strides at Park Mead Primary School, with multiple key phases already complete.

Recent works have included extensive roofing repairs and re-felting across several areas of the school, paving the way for further essential roof works to begin.

Significant internal upgrades have also been completed, including the refurbishment of the school library, the creation of a temporary space for the breakfast and after-school club, and enhancements to the ICT room and nursery. These works feature new ceilings and fresh internal decorations and are now fully operational, providing vibrant environments for children to learn and play.

The electrical team is currently on site, working diligently to remove redundant cabling from classrooms and install new wiring throughout the building.

Looking ahead, the next phase will focus on the findings from the structural engineer’s report, addressing specific roof areas that have experienced leaks. Once reviewed, the team will begin reinstating ceilings and progressing with first and second fix works - further transforming classroom spaces and establishing a permanent home for the breakfast and after-school club.

MCS is proud to be helping shape a warmer, safer, and more inspiring school environment where the Park Mead community can continue to learn, grow, and thrive.
