MCS is delighted to have been awarded an “Excellent” rating from the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) yesterday for its work on a new hypercar showroom for SuperVettura.
The award under the CCS follows a detailed inspection of all aspects of our work at the site. It covers our care about the appearance of the site, our respect for the local community, the environmental protection measures we have put in place and the value we show to our workforce.
Our team scored 42 out of 45 to secure the award.
Justin Whiteman, Managing Director, MCS, said: “Many congratulations to Rob Medlicott, Oliver Barratt, Peter Greenaway and their team for a great score. The whole team are doing a super job and should feel very proud of what they have achieved.”
Working in collaboration with BONDS Project & Commercial Management, KB Architects and IWA Services, MCS has demolished the existing old car showroom to make way for a new high-quality environment for the presentation and sale of luxury brand cars; including a whole floor dedicated to showcasing the Swedish hypercar, Koenigsegg, for which SuperVettura is an official UK Dealer.
Once complete the new building will have a two-storey glazed façade to the front elevation and render to the side and rear elevations. Internally a minimalist, neutral and sustainable material palette has been selected to offer a ‘museum’ like concept upon which to display and showcase the cars with a rotating car lift to greet and attract visitors on arrival into the exclusive space.
The upper storey of the hypercar and supercar showroom will house the ‘Koenigsegg Experience Centre’, showcasing the Koenigsegg model range, both current and historic.
Works are due to be completed during the 1st quarter 2025.
