Epsom Library Completed

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the transformed Epsom Library, delivered on behalf of Surrey County Council.

Appointed on a D&B basis, MCS collaborated closely with AtkinsRéalis and Turner & Townsend to undertake a sensitive strip-out of the existing structure, followed by extensive MEP. The new services were carefully integrated into the updated facility layout, with refurbishment works including new finishes and decorations completed throughout.

These essential upgrades were undertaken to enable more flexible and increased use of the library space, ensuring compliance with current standards, and improve energy efficiency in line with the Council’s Greener Futures objectives.

Following the completion of our works, the project was handed over to Surrey County Council to carry out the final phase of the fit-out, which included the installation of new FF&E and library collections.
