We are delighted to announce the award of a new project from Woking Council to undertake works at their Grade 1 Listed Brookwood Cemetery.
The cemetery, once known as London Necropolis, was founded in 1852 and today spans 220 acres. The estate is enclosed by an attractive 2.5m high wall which features brick piers with pebbledash rendered masonry infill panels and half round feature brick copings.
This historic wall was built in 1902 and sustained damage earlier this year following a vehicle incident. MCS has been entrusted to carefully remove the damaged section of wall and reinstate it to its former glory.
These works are due to commence in Spring 2023.
