Looking back at (and from a very different angle) completed works is interesting and rewarding.
We thoroughly enjoyed delivering this fast-track project at Long Ditton Infant School for Surrey County Council where we carried out essential re-roofing of certain sections of the 1911 building.
Works were delivered in a carefully phased sequence of ‘one classroom at a time’, in order that each classroom beneath the roof was closed to pupils, so that noise disruption to learning was minimised.
Additional works included flat roof works, new rainwater goods and carrying out external redecorations.
These new refurbishments benefited the school hugely by: improved insulation, improved thermal properties, improved acoustic properties and cost savings through reduced energy usage.
