MCS was appointed by Elizabeth Finn Homes Limited to design and construct a new wing at Eversfield Care Home in Reigate, enhancing the home’s capacity while preserving the character and charm of the original Victorian mansion. Elizabeth Finn Homes operates nine care homes across England and is widely recognised for delivering high-quality residential, nursing and end-of-life care.

Owned and operated by Elizabeth Finn Homes since 1996, Eversfield Care Home provides a warm, welcoming environment set within a beautiful period property. Prior to the development, the home offered 36 generously sized en-suite bedrooms within the historic mansion, creating a comfortable and homely setting for residents.

The new development was carefully designed to complement the architecture of the existing building while responding to growing local demand for high-quality nursing care. The two-storey, 9,149 sq ft extension provides 16 additional fully en-suite bedrooms, significantly enhancing the home’s ability to support residents who require specialist nursing care.

Each of the new bedrooms has been thoughtfully designed to the highest standards, combining modern comfort with elegant interiors in keeping with the home’s traditional character. Residents benefit from bright, spacious accommodation with views across the surrounding landscaped gardens, creating a calm and peaceful living environment.
