Working in close partnership with Macro, MCS was appointed to deliver a comprehensive programme of refurbishment works at Chennestone Primary School on behalf of Surrey County Council.

The project included the safe removal of asbestos-containing materials to facilitate essential structural and specialist concrete repairs. MCS also replaced the existing flat roof coverings, skylights, and associated components with a high-performance roofing system designed to provide superior durability and enhanced insulation levels.

As part of the works, the team installed new water tanks within the roof enclosures and completed structural strengthening to the supporting bases.

Following the external upgrades, MCS undertook internal ceiling and wall repairs to address damage caused by historic water ingress.

The entire project was strategically phased and meticulously coordinated to ensure minimal disruption to the school’s day-to-day operations.
