Great progress is being made on the second phase of works at Glebelands School, which is a co-educational secondary school in Cranleigh, Surrey.
Working on behalf of Surrey County Council, MCS is carrying out extensive external refurbishment works whilst the school is fully operational.
The works involve the complete external roof refurbishment and replacement of single glazed Crittal windows to two of the school’s existing buildings, which were built in the 1960’s:
These new refurbishments will benefit the school hugely by: Improved insulation, thermal properties, acoustic properties plus reduced energy usage and maintenance costs.
This week we received some lovely feedback from Melissa Rogers, School Business Manager: “We have found MCS to be organised and efficient in planning the project with clear communication to the school in terms of timescales and works on site.
“They are focussed on delivering a high-quality project to the school. Site workers and Project Managers are professional in their approach and presentation on site, sensitive to the safeguarding requirements of working in a school environment and approachable, working collaboratively with us.
“We would recommend MCS for this type of work from our experience of working with MCS on this project.”
