MCS colleagues have chosen the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice as their charity of the year in 2021.
The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, has provided compassionate Hospice Care to patients and their families for over 40 years. Every day the organisation supports 250 patients, carers and their families in their own homes or at their hospices in Farnham and Guildford.
The NHS only provides around 20% of Phyllis Tuckwell’s income, so they have to raise over £20,000 every single day to continue providing vital specialist services.
Paul Hodges, Managing Director at MCS, said: "We’ve chosen Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice as our charity of the year because they’re a fantastic local cause making a difference in our community.
"We have a number of colleagues who have seen first-hand the incredible work the Hospice does to support patients – some of whom have been their loved ones.
"Over the next 12 months we’ll be working hard to raise as much funds as possible for the Hospice.”
