#Throwbackthursday - 2002 - St Paul's Church, East Molesey
Working in collaboration with BCH Architects, MCS was appointed to refurbish and reorder the Grade II listed building, located in East Molesey Conservation Area.
Work commenced on the project during 2002, to completely refurbish and re-engineer the interior and exterior of the church as well as improve the way people entered and moved through the building.
Internally the existing Victorian floor tiling within the porch was restored, the oak entrance doors were reinstated, a new lighting system was installed and redecorations were carried out throughout.
Externally, MCS constructed a new ramped approach and level access to the main entrance providing a shared entrance for all. The entrance was fitted with newly full-glazed doors to provide a welcoming appoint of arrival.
