St John’s School Sports Centre in Leatherhead – a recently completed D&B project – has achieved its target receiving a BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good’ reflecting super environmental, social and economic sustainability performance, shortly after its opening.
The BREEAM rating considered a range of factors including the building’s life cycle, low-carbon construction methods and sustainably sourced raw materials, operational energy and water use, and indoor air quality.
Paul Hodges, MCS’s Managing Director, said: “This outcome is the result of hard work across the whole project team, from the client to the designers, consultants and the construction team.
