Our teams are currently working in close partnership with Surrey County Council to refurbish 6 residential properties in Woking, Surrey.
The three-month project was awarded to MCS in June 2020 to strip out the existing finishes, soft floors and replace with new, internal and external decorating, mechanical and electrical services, re-roofing and fencing works.
Prior to the works commencing our resident liaison officer, Cliff Kent, spoke with all the residents to explain the refurbishment process, answer questions and address any concerns. During these conversations Cliff learnt that each tenant did not want the specified paint colour and each had a different paint colour décor preference. Cliff raised this with Surrey County Council, who gave MCS permission to alter the specification to make the homes more bespoke and homely for the residents.
