Independently owned since its inception, MCS was taken over by the three current Directors in 2000 bringing with them 55 years of combined experience in construction and more importantly, 35 years of experience in Management & Construction Services.  This experience paid dividends as the company has tripled its turnover in recent years.

As part of this growth MCS Design & Construct was then established in 2004 to manage the increasing amount of Design & Build business and at this time MCS Holdings was created to support the new framework of the group.

Today MCS provides a full service management and construction service in all projects and specialise in new build and refurbishment in both traditional contract and Design & Build across a large variety of market sectors including education, ecclesiastical, commercial, residential, healthcare and leisure and Local Authority works among others.

We believe that there are few better indicators of client satisfaction than repeat business which currently represents over 80% of our turnover. This is largely based on our quality of service, our positive and proactive approach and our experience of working with some leading and demanding architectural practices who continuously design to these standards. All types of work are structured with a high level of Director involvement coupled with site and office based management control and applied procedures and these form part of the company’s work based ethics.

Most contracts are gained via single stage competitive tendering procedures, but an increasing number are negotiated contracts providing benefits to both client and contractor.
